“You couldn’t interpret the solo parts of all these works more beautifully than Ana de la Vega from Australia and Ramón Ortega Quero from Spain. With lively, sparkling lightness as well as a wonderfully balanced sound quality, their incredibly vivid musical dialogues are particularly captivating. By comparison, the Trondheim soloists, who otherwise perform with well-suited excellence, occasionally get pushed to the sidelines acoustically, but can demonstrate their outstanding class in the tutti sections.”
